The ftp client is just one of a few other plugins like the registry or WebDAV. The WebDAV plugin also uses the "Disconnect" option of this button.

Is menu the same for all the FTP-like plugins? If yes, the tooltip could be for example "Connection settings" or similar. I mean, the tooltip "Plugins" tells almost nothing to the user, it should describe more clear what the button does.
