Select only file name when creating new file.

Post by *Kimon »

Hi. A small wish.
I use TC 7.01, and i have the "select only the file name when renaming" option enabled, and it works well.
Saves me many clicks every day.
I wish, if possible, to have the option for the same behavior when creating a new file via the right click menu.
Curently, TC prompts for the name having the extension highlited.
This is 5 pushes at the cursor key, just to name the file.
Vista have this behavior on by default, and sure it is convenient.

Thank you.

No, this is only 1 push: the Home key.

Using TC 11.03 / Win10 x64

Well... indeed  and i finally found a use for the home key.
Still, my suggestion is valid.. 0 pushes.
