sort directory history alphabetically

Sorting directory history alphabetically will be more useful in many conditions, especially when you are finding a unique directory among the long directory history list, which are from different drivers, parent folder.

Why not give an option or an internal command to this, then user can switch conviniently between historical and alphabetical ways. Shift +click "triangle" doing the switch work is admirable. :P

Yes, that is a good idea.
I also often use Directory history. A Simle Key combination to toggle between sort of date (the order) and alphabetically would be nice.

I support this suggestion, if it results in having a sorted list of last visited directories with subdirectories etc. It would make it easier to find back a directory in a long directory history list if one frequently travels between different drives and directories.
