Thumbs list creation - different from 6.x versions

Post by *roentgen »

Something I noticed when activating thumbs view for the first time in a session. The very first part of the uploaded video is the interesting one...

Now it worked, after copying to clipboard and sucking with Orbit or entering in address bar.

Yeah, looks funny, I can reproduce it.

Hm, you got me thinking...
I tested again with a clean ini and I clearly can reproduce it in brief view mode only, in a large dir like c:\windows.

As a side note: I started using brief view mode intensively in TC 7.x, that's why the thread title. I just tested the issue in TC 6 (clean ini) and the results are identical.

No steps are necessary, start TC fresh, switch to thumbnail view. Looks annoying, consumes time. It happens here all the time :-(
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

I can not reproduce it - maybe it is a video card problem. I am using an onboard Intell video chip in 32bit color.

This happens because Total Commander doesn't know the image size at the time when you switch to thumbnails view, so the line size can only be set when the first image has been loaded...

I think

Code: Select all

ThumbWidthNoCache=100
ThumbHeightNoCache=100
should be enough for determining the thumb size, but who knows...
