what to use for media file preview?

what to use for media file preview?

i've tried MMedia, SMViewer, txQuickView and MediaShow, but none is satisfactory enough. what is everybody using?

i got a question, how to enable an External Viewer?
i have plugins for text files and want to use, like kmp, for media files. if i Associate media types with this External Viewer and set F3 for External Viewer, i won't be able to use F3 for Internal Viewers (plugins) then.
