[BUG] Overlay icons for junctions are still not shown...
...in normal view in the file panels, instead TC displays the internal link icon.
All trees show the overlay correctly:

Sorry, I cannot help you. TC just requests the overlays from the system. Some overlay extensions may not work with other programs than the Explorer.

Actually it does request it - maybe Windows returns a different icon with higher priority? I get a little arrow icon for reparse points...

Please look at the screenshot in my first posting!Sorry, I cannot help you. TC just requests the overlays from the system. Some overlay extensions may not work with other programs than the Explorer.
In the separate tree it works but not in the normal panels.
Create a screenshot and post it please, as you seem to use a very special Total Commander version. Also I am intested to hear what extension you are using...Actually it does request it - maybe Windows returns a different icon with higher priority? I get a little arrow icon for reparse points...

Strange, I use the same extension here, and it works perfectly also in file lists. Have you disabled EXE/LNK icons?

Have you created a junction or a hardlink? Screenshot?Strange, I use the same extension here, and it works perfectly also in file lists.
Hardlink overlays work, junction overlays don't! This has been confirmed in this thread and by everyone else I asked besides by you.

Yes, junctions (to folders) show overlays just fine here!

Sorry, I have tested this on Windows 2000 only. Maybe it's an XP bug. There is a hierarchy of overlay icons since only one overlay icon can be shown, so maybe XP is returning a higher priority empty overlay icon in this case...
