Options / Color / Define colors by file type... / Add.. / &Define... / Search for: "Temp" / Save / Save "Temp color" / (Choose Temp from the list) / Ok / (Choose a color) / Ok / Ok
I switched to Linux, bye and thanks for all the fish!

Is there a way to do it for file only, and not a directory.

i.e.

file.mp3 but not the directory MP3 Commander?

Yes it is, when you do as SanskritFritz described, search for *.mp3 after clicking 'define' and then only files with the matching extension will be coloured.

You can also enter multiple extensions to color similar items with the same color, e.g. with searching for *.mp3 *.wav *.wma

You know how you figure things out, just after you post it?

That's me.

I need to learn to be more patient.

Thanks guys.

Just for completion. On the extended page check the directory attribute to get only directories or uncheck this option to get only files.

You're right. I forgot about possible directorie names like 'loads.of.mp3' or sth. So your way is a more robust one.
