Mockup of better directory-creation error-dialog

Post by *now »

The dialog that pops up when trying to failing to create a directory is a bit ugly. I did a mockup of a slightly better error dialog. It puts a title on the dialog to clarify immediately what’s going on, adds an icon so that one visually knows the classification, and also adds an error cause, supposedly retrievable through GetLastError() or some such. In this case “Illegal name” was the error message I guessed Windows would return for the associated error code (note that ‘:’ can’t appear in file names on a Windows system).

Hmmh, I'am just wondering.

If TC could detect that the given directory name is illegal, he should not offer to create this "ILLEGAL:" directory with admin right's. :?
Seems to be a useless offer in this case.
