For those who can't wait for 5.51...
Total Commander 5.51 has been released! I'm just waiting for Simtelnet to update their site, then I will link to it and announce it.
Currently the program is only available via Winsite, but I'm no longer linking to them because of the advertising popups which they use. So I recommend that you use a popup blocker when visiting their site!
Edit: Total Commander is now also available via simtelnet and betanews! You can download it here. Please press reload if the page still shows info about version 5.50!

Excellent as always! Thank you!
I need to ask something about the new version, though. Where do I set it up for the FTP to automatically send a random keep alive command? When I installed the new version, I just set the psth for the ini files to the ones I was using for the last version. Do I need to do something else? I don't see the option anywhere in the setup.

Congratulation! Christian!
It's all TCers day today. Thank u!
Yet, 2 questions while reading history.txt.
1. "Added: Shortcuts Ctrl+Left/Right arrow (with+without shift) to in place edit of path"
What does it mean? Don't Ctrl+Left/Right arrow "Open directory/archive and display it in the target window. If the cursor is not on a directory name, the current directory is displayed instead."? I tried and they do as they were.
2."Added: Single click on active file window title allows to change / copy /paste the current dir"
Where is "active file window"? Beg ur parden for my english understanding.

Installer trying to overwrite wcmzip32.dll
Can we not do this? Every upgrade I have to find and restore "non standard" wcmzip32.dll because installer overwrites whatever you have installed currently.
I guess simple question, "do you want to overwrite this dll" would do the thing.
For now - I recommend setting it to read only and system attributes before doing an upgrade - that way you can stop installer from copying this not-so-popular zip library.
Note to people who don't know what is wcmzip32.dll : The standard zip library included in TC installation does not support archiving with password. There is non-official library that does support it - so you can open and create zip archives created with password encryption.[/i]
