Right click on directory causes TC crash

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Right click on directory causes TC crash

Post by *hansch »

Hello!
I'm encountering this problem since upgrade to version 7. When I click right mouse button on a directory (for context menu), which contains directory with the same name e.g. Gorillaz/Gorillaz (and also some other folders and files could be inside) Total Commander immediately crashes/exits. If I click the same directory in Explorer it works as expected.
I'm using TC 7.02a (registered) on Windows XP PRO SP2 EN. I can provide more information if required..
Best regards!

Welcome!

Hm, smells like a faulty shell extension to me. If you have installed any, you should have a look here how to investigate this and find the culprit:
