Confirmation for drag & drop ignored for packing/unpacki

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Confirmation for drag & drop ignored for packing/unpacki

Post by *astrotzky »

I disabled the confirmation for "Drag & drop (copying files with mouse)". I would expect not to be asked for confirmation when packing or unpacking files which is not the case.

Also the name (copying files with mouse) is misleading. You can hold Shift to MOVE files and it doesn't ask for confirmation (as expected).

Drag&Drop ALWAYS shows the options for packing/unpacking because there are some options which you can set only in that dialog.

Yes and I don't like that. If people want to see options they should just use F5.
So what I am asking is that packing/unpacking be treated the same as copying regarding drag & drop.

:) Hello !
…Yes and I don't like that. …
• I don't like either, and I work 100% via D&D for these handling, this message leads me nuts for many years…
…If people want to see options they should just use F5.
• Good point, I agree. They are legion, here… This could explain that:|
