Currently the TC window name is something like "Total Commander 5.51 - Johnny Licensee". This name is visible in the title bar of the TC window, in the Windows Taskbar, in the Windows "Alt+Tab" dialog (I don't know the proper term), in the Windows Task Manager and so on. When a window name is truncated in the Windows Taskbar then the full window name is available as Tooltip.
I suggest to give the TC window a more informative name such as "D:\Data\OldStuff\ - TC 5.51" (or "TC 5.51 - D:\Data\OldStuff\"). The path name is supposed to reflect the current directory (source path) of the running TC instance. Thus in many cases the user can quickly identify each instance of TC when multiple instances are running concurrently. Most Windows applications behave similarly (either CurObjectName - AppName or AppName - CurObjectName). In particular the Windows Explorer uses only the path name of the current directory as window name. Please note that in my suggestion "Total Commander" is abbreviated to "TC", increasing the chance that the window name need not be truncated. This is specially important in the "Alt+Tab" dialog because it offers no Tooltips (unlike the Windows Taskbar).
Little suggestion: More informative TC window name

Still, it would be certainly much better if this field is fully customizable, best with macros, like:
%Path - for the full path of the current active directory
%Name - for the name of the current active directory (without the whole path)
%Operation - for a description of the current operation runing ("Copying x from y to z", etc.), if applicable
%Progress - for the current operation progress, if applicable
(the operation/progress is displayed now when doing a long operation, like an FTP transfer for example)
%Licensee - for licensee name
%Version - TC version
%InstanceNumber
and whatever else could be useful...
