Openning files on the network with TC

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Openning files on the network with TC

Post by *avichaim »

Hi,
I'm working with TC 7.02a on Vista ultimate.
For a while now I can't open graphic files nor office files from within TC.
If I go to the same file and try to open it from windows explorer it opens.
I reinstalled TC and change some file associations but nothing helps.
Another important issue is when I open the problematic files with lst2mlt.exe or with the internal viewer they do open.
The only problem is when pressing enter/double clicking on a file.

Hope you'll be able to help.
10x,
Avi.

Hello,
And what is the association of the file? You can check in TC's menu, File - Associate with.

TIA
Roman
Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

It's happening with a few file types:
Office documents are associated to the relevant office app.
BMP - MS Paint
All other graphic files to ACDSee Pro 2
