it would be very nice to have the possibility to repeat a search. This means that in the search result the search is started again with exact the same parameters. Actually i have to open the Search-Window and set all parameters again. This has the following background: I search all Sourcefiles that are locally modified. Then i commit the to CVS or i merge the changes on another branch or something else. After that i want to see if i have done my work on all files and start the same search again - hoping for an empty result:-)
The next interesting feature is the possibility to load a search result from a file or the Clipboard. The file or clipboard contains a single filename in every line. This could be an absoulte or a relative path. If the path is relative then the file is searched from that folder where the load list was started. There might appear the situation that a file was deleted and does not exist anymore on the disc. The filename should be displayed with a special colour or something that gives a hint to the user that the file is missing.
The situation of missing files might also appear in the result list if the user deletes a file. It should be possible to refresh the result list and all file attributes, date, Overlay-Icons etc. are refreshed and deleted files get the hint mentioned before.
All these proposals are meant for the tab "Search Result", not the Search Window.
Hope to use it in 7.5
Bye
