I searched the forum for this bug but cannot find
How to reproduce:
1. Show directory tree <Ctrl+F8>
2. Drag a file from the file list to any folder contains some subfolders
3. Press <Enter> or <Space> to open the above folder
4. Drop the file into a subfolder
a message box popup says "No files selected!"
Also you cannot drop the file into the file list panel after opening the target folder by <Enter>.
Drag file to directory tree folder opened by <Enter>

It doesn't seem like a bug. It's more a not-so-well-working "feature"
. When you press Enter or Space, it changes the directory of the tree so that refreshes the files list and de-selects the file you have started dragging. Perhaps when drag has been started, the filelist should not be updated...

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

Indeed this works currently only when using a separate tree, not when using a tree within the file panels. I will try to find a solution.
