[BUG] TC Crashes when edit during file compare

Post by *F.R.@.N.K »

Info:
TC V7.02
File compare tool: Beyond Compare V2.5.1

When you start a dir synchronize between offline and online dir by FTP and you double click a fileset then (for me) Beyond Compare starts. If I edit a file and shut down BC then TC gives a popup with (translated) command in action (in Dutch: commando in uitvoering). There is a okay button on this popup but the box won't leave and TC it therefor stalled/crashed.

Sounds like your FTP connection is dead, and TC is waiting in vain for a reply. Have you tried to use keep alive?

Nope, thats not it. I work allot with FTP connections to webservers. The compare function in TC is great and comparing a file with a file compare program like BC is even greater! But it locks itself, after closing BC, time after time. No way you can click TC out of it.

Fixed in 7.03.
