tool for stripping all CR (carriage returns) from text file?

Does any of you know a command-line tool which can strip carriage returns from a text file? I assumed I would find one quickly on google, but have had no success.

Hi jdmarch,
you have to search for dos2unix. There are thousands of hits on google
