sxw-files are just zip files. Use Ctrl+PageDown to open. There is a thread in the german forum:

Well, I do not read german...
I also know that sxw files are zip files, but i was looking for a plugin to "read" them as the office viewer does...

The IEView plugin also supports OpenOffice.org files. In the [extensions] section of ieview.ini add

openoffice=.sxw;.sxc;.sxd;

I also add openoffice to the NoFocusChange= entry.

Where can I download the IEView plugin? I have searched this forum, but did not find any reference to where IEView could be downloaded. Does it appear under a different name?

Besides adding the line openoffice=.sxw;.sxc;.sxd; I also had to change the AllowActiveX=0 to AllowActiveX=1. Otherwise it would not work.
