For purity reasons I don't like .bak and .tmp files spread all over my disc.
When testing the new edit-feature I found that a .bak-files was created in the same directory as the edited file. I would like to be able to configure where the .bak files would go, or be able to suppress them totally.

At least for the beta test I prefer to keep the .bak files because the function may still have some undiscovered bugs.

Until the backup files can be deleted by TC, you can find an AHK workaround in this thread:
