TC 7.04
Relevant settings:
* Configuration/Display/"Tree: Press ENTER to open dir in other window" is off (no checkmark)
* Menu Show, "Separate Tree" is set to 1 or 2.
Now, moving the cursor up and down in the Tree Panel is impossible. The cursor jumps to the active File Panel immediately.
This behavior is new to 7.04.
Best regards,
edse

I'm sorry but you are one day too late for TC 7.04a. You will have to check the option "Press Enter..." if you want to use the tree view with the keyboard, sorry.

Hi, edse. Hi, Christian.
The behaviour is the same in T.C. 7.04a.
In case you wish to keep the "Press Enter to open dir" unchecked, you can still use the mouse to navigate through the separate folder tree(s).
Personally I find navigating through the folder tree(s) using my mouse more convenient than using the cursor keys anyway.
(This is why I would never have noticed the faulty behaviour if edse had not reported it.)
Kind regards,
Karl
