Please, make an opportunity to set executable files (exe com cmd bat) and archives (rar zip arj 7z) in the beginning of the file panel list.

Create an extension group and custom column with FileX:

Or create a file filter with Ctrl+F12:

What you want is already possible, you can sort by executables and archives, pictures, videos, whatever you like...
