My idea was a plugin that could react when a new file is created in a dir and maybe show a popup or something that you can click on to open TC and navigate to that dir.

Like for my recived files on gtalk/msn/icq/whatever.
If you want such stuff, it should not be a TC plug in !
It is more suitable for a dedicated monitoring application that have "to launch TC" when change are detected.... If you want half the solution built for you, you can use PowerPro and use watchfolder capabilities.

Code: Select all

file.watchfolder(path, cmd, maxwait, keywords)

if you get powerpro, you will also be able to have a wonderful script collection http://ppro.totalcmd.net/ !
PowerPro sounds wonderfull! :-)

Thanks for the tip.

And I think you are right.. but at the same time i wanted to keep the programs to a minimum.
You know how it is... you install one program for a task, then you get another for another simple task and then you end upp with miljons of programs that sucks the power of your computer. :p

Thanks again!
