Hello everyone,
We just discovered that NTFS permissions are not set when copying files, when the source disk is formatted with an 8K or higher cluster size.
We would like to know if this is a known issue and perhaps a possible workaround.
We are using version 7.02a.

Yes, we have tested this numerous times. As soon as we format a drive with 8K clustersize or more and try to copy from it, the NTFS-permissions are not set. Even with the flag set
Maybe it is an issue with the server itself. I will try some more scenarios and post the results.

Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this problem - I don't see why NTFS functions should work with one cluster size but not with another, so it must be caused by something else...
