[REQ] Copy paths of sync results

Post by *Csimbi »

Hi there,
there is a feature to copy the list of file names either with full path or just the file name from the panels.
I would like to ask extending this feature to the dir sych result window.
For example:
1. I have two similar dirs on two dies of the panel.
2. I hit Commands->Synchronize Dirs...
3. Hit compare.
4. I click on the green arrow and equal sign buttons to remove the files I do not need from the list.
5. CTRL+A to select all, and then copy the files names with full path to clipboard.

Step 5 is the actual request. I do not mind how it's done, pick the way that seems the easier for you. Here are two examples:
- copy the full paths directly from the sync result window (preferable using the same call/hotkey I have for doing the same on the panels) - though there might be a need to change this (copy right names - copy left name variant)
- add the ability to feed the sync results to a list box (like it's done with the search results) and I can use the existing hotkey/feature to copy the full paths to the clipboard.

Thank you for considering.
Best regards: Csimbi

Nice idea, very helpful to get a list of files which have been changed meanwhile.
You have to take care, that the synch direction is the same though.

BTW: There is a workaround to save the synch results:
You just have to add a port=FILE Type="Standard/Generic Text only" printer to your active printers.
- at Synch-Dialog do a right click on an entry and select "Print selected"
- now choose your generic printer and print to file

IMHO, copy feature is more useful than printing.

:? <Ctrl+A> <Ctrl+C> :?:
Works in the same way as "Print selected", but copies the names to clipboard :!:
