Search here is very hard to make use of, I find.
Not only does Search, as is, hunt through every language in the forum site but the page it returns makes no reference to the searched-for terms. No reminder; no reference.
I searched for christian at the top of the search page and amongst all the 2298 topics returned there was one, for example:
http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewforum.php?f=6
- that had eleven (11) pages of discussion. (I won't mention the thread with 85 pages..)
How hard is it for anyone to find a word in umpteen pages of a thread? I say it's almost impossible.
This forum is an integral part of the extended TC product family but if it's unusable then the product as a whole is diminished.
Can we have a more functional, efficient Search?

Just choose the option to show the results as posts, not topics. You can also choose in which forum you want to search.

Yes but..
Yes, Christian, okay, choose Posts. That's better.
1. But doing the search for christian that way I get 4041 responses. In 270 pages.
2. Again, if I have to specify in which forum I want to search I have to select from among 16 forums to do it. And speaking only English I would have to choose from 10 forums, some of which are marked 'English', some of which are not.
That's not too usable.
3. To repeat the process, if I make 1 click to start Search again, 3 clicks to bring back christian, 1 for Posts (again!), 2 clicks to get to the next forum, and 1 on the search button - that's a lot of work to search a forum, to say noting of the scrolling and 'Next Paging'.
Then I have to do it again for the next 8 forums...
Not friendly, I suggest.
4. And there's still no reminder of what the term(s) were that I searched for. Same.
Computers do things better than this, surely?
All to make the Complete Product better.

Plus - there doesn't seem to be a way to search for a phrase - say, help text.
Searching for "help text" returns the same results as searching for help text.
