Hi. No. I don't use any plugins with this beta version. I just wanted to view raw data from MOV video file. And this bug wasn't reproducable - only at first time F3 it's happened.

It was after pressing F3 on *.ett file (it's a document file created by one of the applications I use). I have installed many wlx plugins but none for this type of file so I have supposed to see in binary view as it always happens.

Some time ago also Christian wrote in an e-mail that he thought I'm not interested in TC any more.

And I... am still addicted to it - I open it when I start my computer and work with it whole the day (and night)

I don't have so much time - as it used to be - but I try to browse fourms all the time - mainly using RSS reader - that's why I'm not logged in too often.

I'm also not able to help other as much as before because... I see there are many new (now they are alredy not so new ) users who have more time, great knowledge and love TC as much as I do. They often send the answers before I read the question

Because of the lack of time there were also less updates at our website with tools and plugins for TC but now again I try to keep it up-to-date (there are nearly 550 plugins and over 100 tools for TC - it's incredible).

Anyway, it's nice that somebody still remember me here

Returning to my error. I've found that the problem is probably caused by MediaShow.wlx plugin.
When this plugin is installed it doesn't open it - my file is shown in binary mode but... when I switch to another application TC closes itself.

It works this way also in older version of TC so it's not a problem of the latest beta. I've installed this plugin just one day before the new version of TC has appeared so I've not noticed this problem earlier on older version of TC.

Anyway I've seen the above message for the first time (and only once) so I can't be sure it's for 100% related to it.

Thanks for finding out about MediaShow! Could you try to write to the author abut it? He will probably need a test *.ett file too...

Do you have QuickTime installed? It seems that it installs a DirectShow filter for *.mov. Maybe installing a different filter like ffdshow could help then.
