After copy files, any thread silently working

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

I cannot confirm this problem, I checked it with Windows task manager: Initially TC has 5 threads. After the first copy operation it has 7. During each operation, it goes up to 8, but back to 7 when the copying has finished. This is on Windows XP SP3.

Can you give me more details, please?
1. How do you measure the number of threads?
2. Which Windows version do you use?

Thanks!
