Search Full Text in DOCX

Post by *irian »

Hi,
I am a new baby in total commander. Is it possible to search text inside the docx file using search engine of total commander. I have tried text in doc file, it was successful, but not in the docx file.

Do I have to install certain addon?

I tried adding DOC to that too but it doesn't work with the older file. Any way to get it to look at DOC files, too?
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?

2Fenix,
Now it works. It was my fault because I did not notice the name of the folder where the converter sits. Automatically, the installer made 2dtxt123. So I just rename the folder, and now it works well.
Thank you.

chercher dans les dossier docx

Post by *jackske »

Voici ce que Christian Ghisler m'a expliqué et cela marche; bien que chez moi seulement après avoir redémarré la machine.
Les docx sont des fichiers .zip renommés qui contiennent du text en format xml (UTF-8).

Pour les trouver, il faut:
1. Ajouter la ligne
SearchInFiles=*.docx *.xls
au fichier wincmd.ini sous [Configuration]
2. Cocher les option 'rechercher dans les archives" et UTF-8 (le dernier
seulement si le texte contient des accents)

Meilleures salutations

Christian Ghisler
