Breadcrumb menu in more places
I already requested it in the betaforum but maybe it will be added if more people support it.
Currently the breadcrumb menu can be displayed only for directories below the path bar.
I want ot use it in the directory menu. This is for me the most important place. I want to select a menu item in my directory menu. The breadcrumb menu should be a sub menu of each item in the directory menu. So I can define several "roots" and can instantly switch to the required sub folder.
This cannot be too difficult to add, isn't it?
Other places are of course also possible...

Hi Lefteous!
What did you understand under "directory menu"?
Is it a seperate menu or did you mean the diretories in the panels left and right?
This is my problem currently:
I will intuitiv start breadcrumbling from directories in the panels, instead of the current path above.

directory menu = Ctrl+D.

My directory menu is already organized in a similar fasion, but permanently outdated and building it cost me some time. I think it would be good to have it internally.

I think you misunderstood me.
I thought about two types of folders there:
- as it is now - for grouping in general (but there could be the possibility to change dir too via single click, without automatically generated subfolders),
- breadcrumb one - for directory browsing (shows folder content).

I really don't understand what you mean. Currently there are two types of items:
1. Folders which contain other items.
2. Item performing a command.
If this suggestion is applied there will be three types:
1. Folders which contain other items.
2. Item performing a command (except CD).
3. CD Item which works exactly as now except that they have breadcrumb menus which can be used or not.
I don't see a need to introduce an option.

Just show the breadcrumbs on every Folder/Drive-icon!
Once I used a explorer extension which added some breadcrumb-menus to the directories in the file-list by adding an icon with an downward-arrow near the folder.
That extension came with another nice feature: The icons shown on the Foldertabs started the breadcrumbmenu too.
The idea to use the breadcrumb-menus inside the directory menu is similar. It could be realised with a global setting in TC: The Foldericons !

- I would like to see the option, if I want some directory-icons here and there.
- I would like to have the option whether the breadcrumbs are shown on that icons or not and if I want to show the breadcrumbs by left- or right click.
- And certainly, an option to change the used breadcrumb-icon.

Normally using latest TC on:
x32: WinXPx32 SP3 (very rarely nowadays).
x64: Clients/Servers - Win10/Win11 and Win2K16 to Win2K22, mainly Win10 though.

That does make a lot of sense. Please support.
Or, perhaps Miodrag Milic, if someone can get his attention, can update his AHK script TC FavMenu to include this very useful function!
