To bring it back on-topic I released a new version 
Now the air date is supported as pattern. So you can also match recordings that just have the correct date in their names.
I also added support for the "all" language of thetvdb.com, which will return results for all languages.
Unfortunately this made a small change in the database necessary and so all your stored lookups will be lost
