When I drag'n'drop file from desktop into TC, file is copied into proper directory without any prompt. In 7.04a user was always asked for confirmation. Is this change intended?
I think this might be related but when I drag a file from desktop on taskbar and all windows get minimized, TC cannot be restored neither by Alt+Tab nor by moving (still pressed) cursor onto its area.
There are no problems with other paths opened with explorer,. Only Desktop give some problems.

I cannot confirm this - have you perhaps changed [Confirmation] MouseActions to 0 in stead of 1 in wincmd.ini? When I drag'n'drop file from desktop into TC, file is copied into proper directory without any prompt
I cannot confirm this either. Neither with [Configuration] TrayIcon set to 1 nor 0. If set to 1, I have to press Alt+TAB, choose TC's icon, and then press Enter - but that is normal behaviour. With TrayIcon=0, I just have to move the cursor over TC's button in the task bar.when I drag a file from desktop on taskbar and all windows get minimized, TC cannot be restored neither by Alt+Tab nor by moving (still pressed) cursor onto its area

Confirmations for mouse ON and no tray icon here.
It looks really weird. I've tried to reproduce that and got (roughly translated):

As for me it depends on a file I am triing to DnD.
After new start:
if the first file is a *.lnk , TC asks for confirmation
if the first file is a textfile with some interesting extention , TC doesn`t ask for confirmation. I can copy a *.lnk as a 2., 3. etc. file also without confirmation in this case.

I have now tried D&D of different file types from desktop to TC - and I get a confirmation dialog each time.

Cannot confirm either, sorry. Since OLE Drag&Drop is handled entirely by Windows, it may be a problem with a Drag&Drop handler.
