On the Usefulness of Multi Copy (Continued <g>)

Post by *eitang »

Hi Christian and all.

I noticed the discussion about the usefullness of the LNK dependent multi-Copy has stoped.

Also, Christian has not implemented the copy-all-selected-files to all-open-tabs-in-other-window as I (and others) wished :-(

So, I decided to do this myself, and a little better than what I actually asked for.

I wrote a Delphi (v5.0) program that reads a saved *.TAB file and also a file containing the 'result' of a cm_CopyFullNamesToClip.

The program then proceeds to copy all of the latter files to all of the former destinations.

Of course you can manually edit any of the lists and save them under any name for future use.

Also, all such operations can be saved and used later.

The last files used are automatically loaded upon startup (saved in the INI).

The program is fully bi-lingual (French and English). Help and hints all over the place.

It is a single EXE, 160K in size.

I also wrote a small app that looks in all DEFAULT**.bar in TC' folder looking for an EXE file...(even partially named).

I have three bars and some EXEs I don't even remember their names, so looking for *note*.exe is done by the program, (finding notetab++.exe, EG_Notes.EXE etc.) and it even proposes to run one (and only one) of the found instances.

I'd like to post those apps somewhere for others to enjoy, and don't know wher/how.

.

:) Hello !
…I'd like to post those apps somewhere for others to enjoy, and don't know where/how
• Why don't you place your tools (preferably packed as ZIP or so) in a folder of your Web site ?
Supposing that you have some hundreds KiB free remaining… ;)
- I do so for years @ Orange…

Thank you I'll put these too utilities in my Web site, but how to do in order that the TC community be aware ?
• Just show valid links to the archives HERE, then the users (curious by nature) will give tries to them,
and report their feelings and results… 8)
