Crash TC with the File Compare tool

When in the File Compare tool -
use the ">>" for Open File dialog.
paste in an http address like: http://xka3da.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pXfO8Yyh4AKL4PS1sCw0i5sQ1EzJU2GHlEYJ21r8nUKc_q5l46WN6N5QpZfh4OYcFZXE_QAbFNsrGkkzzAG1AePRABFElgA6_/TC_WinLister2009.jpg

I imagine it should just deny accessing the file...instead of crashing TC.

Cannot reproduce here.
Firstly TC download the jpg file and then everything goes OK.

Strange. I had pasted it by accident. And now trying again... it didn't crash - but downloaded a file into IE's Cache. Be interesting to see what happens when I have a win2K install without IE I guess.

Not confirmed either, just tried it! Did you get any error message?

Yeah it was a huge Memory-like Dump in a MsgBox. Very odd, this is the first bug I can't reproduce again.

Please press Ctrl+C when you get it again (as instructed by that MsgBox), and then paste the result here in the forum with Ctrl+V! These dumps are extremely useful for me, i have already fixed several bugs thanks to them!
