First impression: Very good! I will test the new version entirely in the next days.
EDIT: So far I found the following things to think about:

EDIT: So far I found the following things to think about:
- TConsole.ini location is still wrong. This has been discussed enough in this thread.
- The default font should be the same font that is used in cmd.exe
- I don't have a windows keyboard. Any questions?

IMHO it is the only right one.

Do you mean the font TCon use for German in your case? It should be Lucida Console. Yes, agree with you, I want Terminal for Russian too.

Yep. Why? Just buy it.

Ini location: The ini is located in a directory where I don't have access when working as a restricted user. Read the entire thread for more details.
The font in cmd.exe is some kind of bitmap font. In cmd.exe I can choose between this bitmap font and Lucida Console.
Windows keyboard: I don't wanna buy a windows keyboard. The hotkeys in TConsole should be redefinable.

The ini located in the same directory as plugin, and this is absolutely right. So just install plugin by itself to the path you have "Write" access as user.

Sorry, I can't get from this what is your default font for cmd.exe. Name, brother.

Net glazok - net varen'ya i.e. you punished yourself. Make yourself a Christmas present...

Well, if you ask kindly, may be VadiMGP will add this in one of a next versions %).[/face]

This has been discussed in this thread enough - I don't want to write the same arguments again. The ini located in the same directory as plugin, and this is absolutely right. So just install plugin by itself to the path you have "Write" access as user.
It's called Rasterschriftart (raster=bitmap, schriftart= font) on my german Windows XP Pro system. I made a screen shot. Take a look at my homepage.Sorry, I can't get from this what is your default font for cmd.exe. Name, brother.
I wrote I don't WANT TO buy such a keyboard. It's quite difficult to find new keyboards without windows keys, but it's possible.Make yourself a Christmas present...

Well, I can assure you that in TConsole case the things will stay like they are now. Actually that reminded me Russian proverb "chto russkomu horosho, nemcu smert'" - "the thing that is good for Russian is the certain death for German". %)))
L> I wrote I don't WANT TO buy such a keyboard.
Well, I certainly respect you position, but it prevents you from using shortcuts in TConsole.[/face]

Actually it is "Raster Fonts" in English - I was a bit confused with your "bitmap font" :). Well, I have the same settings and the same situation.[/face]

Hello there,
if I do a "DIR C:\" it takes between 2 and up to 5 seconds to execute this command within TConsole 2.0.
The list is built one item after the other.
(By the way, in C:\ I have only 9 files and 12 directories.)
Anyone of You have an idea why TConsole works so slow?
Any help would be appreciated.
This also occured with older versions of TConsole.
W2K SP4 all patches, german version, TC 6.01final, 1280x960, 32Bit screen resolution.
By the way I use Terminal font 9 points in my cmd.exe.
Thank You
Pete

VadiMGP,
I have found the problem. It is so slow with any command and in any mode, because there seems to occur a problem with TConsole while running AVM KEN! Server at the same time.
AVM KEN! is a software to make internet accessible over the network with proxy, email, fax, etc. (like Jana server).
If I switch off KEN! TConsole works as fast as cmd.exe.
cmd.exe does not slow down while KEN! is running at the same time.
This is strange. Other TC plugins accessed by Network Neighbourhood (like PluginsManager, Services, Task Manager) do not slow down when KEN! is running.
Anyone running KEN! is able to confirm this habit?
Best Regards
Pete
