Yes it is - the site is in 3 languages too, and all 3 languages were used well in the last forum.With even more different specialized sections, is the split in 3 languages really a must ?
I plan to add a "Translate" button for the Lycos or Google translator. Yes it's awful, but it may be useful for some people.Why not make it a truly international forum and have more than one language in the general topics ?

IMHO it's not a good idea. A moins d'être trilingue, je trouve plus confortable de lire, écrire et penser en français dans le forum français, read, write and think english in the english forum...Since the forum is new, a question:
