I never posted very much in this forum, but I really missed it lately.

And of course, all my shortcuts are still leading to the old forum, I don't even know how I got here ; maybe a "news" on TC home site would have made me land here earlier !

Since the forum is new, a question:
With even more different specialized sections, is the split in 3 languages really a must ?

Why not make it a truly international forum and have more than one language in the general topics ?

Yes it is - the site is in 3 languages too, and all 3 languages were used well in the last forum.

I plan to add a "Translate" button for the Lycos or Google translator. Yes it's awful, but it may be useful for some people.

IMHO it's not a good idea. A moins d'être trilingue, je trouve plus confortable de lire, écrire et penser en français dans le forum français, read, write and think english in the english forum...
en plus, les messages en allemand ne me parlent pas, Ich not parle Deutsch !!

There are many people who don't understand English. In the Eastern part of Germany, many people learned Russian and not English. Therefore it's important to have also a support forum in German, because Germany is my largest market (yes, much larger than the USA).

Since I don't understand Russian, I cannot host it myself. But there is a Russian forum at wincmd.ru (which isn't maintained by us).

Sorry, it is just a joke. My wife is half american and speak english (duh), Norwegian (duh) and german fluently.

I would like the forum pages to appear in the same window as your home page. Reason is, when I click on the forum link I'm usually done with the homepage and now I have to close the other window manually. Ok, a very minor annuisance but it is irritating nonetheless
