Internal Association Icons?

Post by *aLieN_Enemy »

Current Internal Association feature doesn't show Icon of the related program.
By adding support for show icons, some benefits can obtain, such as:
- find out whether a program installed (or available) or not
- Better appearance and speedup ui actions

another suggestion is mixing Internal Association by windows defaults(with user options).

Shows here: just click on Change icon button and assign it.

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• You may set any icon you wish in the internal association box, just choose the programme (the EXE) to get it…
- But IMHO, it's better to set different icons for several types associated to the same application…

Claude

It wont show an archive programs icon's, those are Yellow Boxed. Other than that it mostly works for displaying icons.
*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.

:) Hello !
…but my request is about show Icons in Right Click Context Menu.
• The usual local Menu is provided by Windows, hence also the icons it shows…
- So, the internal associations can't display these icons by there since they aren't stated in the Win Registry…
- For the internally associated files, we have also a local menu called via the cm_ContextMenuInternal command,
but currently it doesn't show any icon either… :|

BTW :  The marker is disabled in that board…
… and you may not post links yet.
