You can add it, e.g.:

Code: Select all

[Extensions]
pdf=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wlx\muPDF\pdfview.exe ^.pdf
ai=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wlx\muPDF\pdfview.exe ^.ai
ps=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wlx\muPDF\pdfview.exe ^.ps
eps=%COMMANDER_PATH%\wlx\muPDF\pdfview.exe ^.eps
If you got the muPDF (or SumatraPDF) path right, after a restart of Total Commander this should work.

muPDF is interesting. Too bad it doesn't have Search/Find Text, which really limits usage -- I almost always have to do a text-search in any opened PDF.
*BLINK* TC9 Added WM_COPYDATA and WM_USER queries for scripting.

I get it only with ALT+F3

Configuration - Edit/View, Viewer for F3 group allows to select default lister utility that will be opened by F3 (internal for current file, internal for selection, external).

My bad actually. I double-checked and discovered that SumatraPDF does NOT store file information in the dat file if, upon the first instance of use, its Options regarding file data are unchecked right away.

Therefore, SumatraPDF may also be a good alternative for F3 viewing in TC. muPDF is just a little smaller but SumatraPDF has menus and toolbars. Unfortunately SumatraPDF does not have Search option either.

The last version of muPDF have 2,67MB upx-ed, SumatraPDF have 1,16MB also upx-ed. If I open SumatraPDF in the Toolbar I see a Search form and for me it work.

But that way internal viewers are alt f3 - so ....

I must have had a bad day :) You are correct, there is indeed a search form in SumatraPDF (Tools - Go To - Find). Strange how I failed to notice that.
