Take a look at the readme- or help-file. There are many shortcuts which offers function to activate / go to / display the new folders.

Of course I unpacked it immediately - and have some questions.

I unpacked it, did NOT integrate it in TC, started xmd.exe - and get a message "Das angegebene Modul wurde nicht gefunden." (The defined module was not found.") I can use all buttons, but can not create a folder ...

Is it possible to combine a user-defined string with the entries of a file? (see my suggestion above). I want to have a file with defined strings ("-Phase1, -Phase2, -Phase3"), enter my string "Project12", and it creates the folders "Project12-Phase1, Project12-Phase2, ...).

Regards

I assume you are referring to the main screen. Seems as a missed dll or similar. XMD don't use any external library (only own of windows). Please list the executable with the fileinfo plugin in total commander, go to the tab "DLL dependency" and check if there is some icon in red.

The previous version (1.0.1), did it work on same computer?
What version of windows do you use? I tested it on several computers (xp, vista, seven) before release, but I can not found a similar problem.

Not currently. Meanwhile, perhaps the tool "batch directories" can do it.

This was the first thing I did - everything is OK, nothing is red.

It is the first time that I use it on this PC and I use it "unpack - double click on EXE. It is a XP Home, all updates installed.

If I use the right-click in Windows Explorer and select "XMD New Folder", then appears the menu "Choose the application to open the file FOLDERNAME".

Peter

PS: I edited a file with Notepad and used "Save as ... c:\test\folders.txt". I saw that was not a good idea ... Maybe you can add an advice for the user?

Peter, July 7 wrote:...- Behind the word "Preview" appears a changing number - what is it good for?...
Now I see - it is the length of the name of the new folder. But sometimes the total length of the new path is important - maybe you can add an extra line like "Length: Folder 10 / Path 197 characters"

What parameters would you use to make the dir in the target panel instead of the source panel?
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?

Hellos,

2Peter
Could you check the previous version (1.0.1) in same computer? In this way, I could narrow the problem.
If I use the right-click in Windows Explorer and select "XMD New Folder", then appears the menu "Choose the application to open the file FOLDERNAME".
Apparently, the application was installed in a folder and now seems that it is in a different place. Try to open xmd again and re-check the option: Add "New Folder (XMD)" item to context menu
PS: I edited a file with Notepad and used "Save as ... c:\test\folders.txt". I saw that was not a good idea ... Maybe you can add an advice for the user?
Sorry, I didn't understand.

Sorry, no command-line parameters available for do it. Meanwhile; you can use the right mouse button for make dir in opposite panel or the shortcut SHIFT+ENTER

2Sombra,

Is that something you can add in a future version?
