I discovered that TC7.50a cannot delete files with filenames longer than 256 characters on target drives.
This happens on Windows Server 2003 R2 UK (with SP2 and all updates) with both filesystems as NTFS with option Asymmetric enabled. The source is on the left side and the destination is on the right side.
When I go to the file in TC (not in Synchronize Dirs) it can be deleted without problems.
Looks like a limitation in the delete function in Synchronize Dirs functionality.
Synchronize cannot delete files with filename > 256 chars

Using TC since 1997, known as Windows Commander in the old days

Hello, alm.
This is not a limitation implemented by Total Commander as such or by the synchronize submodul. It is a limitation implemented into the Windows Recycle Bin.
So one workaround for this Windows restriction is by - temporarily - telling Total Commander to delete objects directly (<shift><f8>) and not to move them into the recycle bin.
Problem delete paths up to 259 characters
Kind regards,
Karl
