Deactivate main menu items where they have no effect

Some commands presented in main menu do nothing when invoked in particular context. For example Files>Calculate Occupied Space or Commands>Volume Label have no effect when used in panel with open FTP connection.

I believe it would be way better to make these items inactive and turn them to gray so that the user wouldn't have to wonder why it hadn't worked.
