No, it seems that Windows Mobile doesn't detect the program as the same when the company name changes...

Just out of curiosity... since you have a new company name... why not put out a new version for WinMo with the notice to uninstall the old version first??? Your average user is pretty advanced and would understand this (considering the POWER USER status this app brings with it).
almost every program I have ever used for WinMo has done this a time or 2... and I think its possible to make the installer check for it (look for a file or registry key) and fail the uninstaller with the reason (needing to uninstall the older version) which would also solve this issue???
