SFTP PLEASE!! AND SUGESTION FOR THE INSTALLER...

Is great the new version, I was waiting it months, it has one option that I suggested and I think lot's of people do, the direct acces to directories like desktop!!! That's Great! One suggestion for the installer is that read the registry Key of the Desktop of the User that is installing the TotalCommander and update it directly because by now, it gets the letter drive where the totalcommander is installed and try to imagine where is the Desktop, just reading the key of the registry you have direct acces to it.

And the other thing, please!!! SECURE FTP!!! SSL rulez!!! When I connect to my Linux servers I have to use the ftp, but they have since years SFTP active and is more secure!!!

wasn't there talk about a better plugin system that would make it possible for a more user-friendy sftp plugin? So that one would not notice any difference in layout/settings for normal ftp and sftp?

I suggested a "server plugin" system some time ago.
