Automatically paste md5 from file or clipboard

Post by *angussf »

I have been using Kana Checksum http://www.kanasolution.com/index.php?fid=7 to calculate MD5 checksums from downloaded files, and it has one really nice feature that TCMD's WinHasher plugin is missing: Kana Checksum automatically loads the MD5 sum for FILEX.ext if FILEX.MD5 also exists in the same directory. No need to manually open the MD5 file and copy the hash.

Another feature which would be Really Nice: if no MD5 file exists and the Windows clipboard contains a string of the correct length (common if one has copied the MD5 checksum from a website), auto-paste the clipboard contents into the compare field. Only do this if it is the correct length, however ;-)
