Not sure if this is a bug, but today I've noticed that (Linux) dot files are sorted in the opposite of alphabetic order (I have sorting by Name turned on). It became evident when I was checking contents of a folder copied from Linux, containing lots of "dot files". If I choose sorting by Extension, they are sorted correctly, though.
If it's by Name, it's e.g.:
.filter
.bashrc
.autorespond-loopprotect
.addressbook
etc.
I'm pretty sure they used to be in alphabetic order, like regular "Windows" files, even when sort by Name was chosen.
Wrong extension sort

Hello, commodore.
Behaviour confirmed.
If I have not missed another thread dedicated to the same issue, sorting of filenames which
+ consist of the .extension only or
+ which do not have an extension at all, but start with a dot
depending on which way you wish to look at it,
then the last statement by Christian is this:
Kind regards,
Karl

Yes, apparently due to conversion to Unicode and it'll be fixed in 7.51:
