I use Find text in Find files almost daily for searching through text files and would really like to see what TC found in the file, a la grep.
I know that there are external programs for this but I would really like to see this as a native feature.
Tried searching the forum but didn't find any threads regarding this.

What do you mean by that - obviously TC found the text you entered.would really like to see what TC found in the file
If you want to see where the text is inside your file, then you can press F3 to open the file in Lister - and if you continue pressing F3, Lister will jump to next occurrence of the text.

Petermad's suggestion is good. But I was hoping that some functionality to text search would be added, like "inforapid search and replace," (http://www.inforapid.de), a fantastically wonderful program which the author did not care to update since 2003. Would Mr. Ghisler care to add at least some features of inforapid?would really like to see what TC found in the file
