Hello, gryzor.
[BETA2] Something is wrong... ... since LZMA/7zip is still not supported internally.
To the best of my knowledge, the announcement of new features of T.C. 7.55 does not state that 7zip were supported internally by T.C.

Therefore I fail to see how your complaint can be a bug report. A feature that does not exist cannot be buggy.

Rather I would consider it a feature request: add internal support of 7Zip to T.C.
(By the way, this has been requested more than once before. Yet, Christian seems to be a bit loath to do so.)

Kind regards,
Karl

I agree that it is sad that TC still doesn't support 7Z internally (using 7-Zip's library 7z.dll), but why something is wrong? History.txt doesn't contain nothing about 7Z support, TC supports LZMA only in ZIP format.

[mod]Thread moved to “TC7.55 Suggestions” since there is no bug, but the feature is missing…

So far I haven't added internal 7zip support because the format seems to change much more quickly than there are new TC versions. This makes it hard to keep the unpacker up to date with new formats.

This is no problem. One could easily download the new version if needed.
AFAIK the interface is not changed often.
