I never tried it, but it seems that the TWinkey plugin hooks several TC dlls and seems to interfer with other plugins sometimes.

If you find a workaround in the ahk source I will include it.

You may disable the gui, by clicking on the button with the two arrows pointing upwards. At extended user interface uncheck the option "activated".

Now I'm still trying to find somebody else who can at least reproduce the bug. I already contacted to TWinkey author and also posted a description of the bug on russian forum.

upd. the next problem not seems to be related to twinkey:
1. Start TC.
2. Filter something with QSX, tcmatch.exe qui will be displayed.
3. Minimize TC to tray and then restore it.
4. Try to filter something with QSX -> tcmatch.exe gui won't appear.

This bug seems to be unrelated to another one (when TWinkey is active) when tcmatch.exe gui won't displayed and QuickSearh panel just hides after pressing first letter.

I tried to reproduce it, but I couldnt.
1) Did disabling the gui help? (override_search=0)
2) Can you post your "tcmatch.ini"?
3) Do you have TC installed on the stick?

2DrShark
1. Start TC.
2. Filter something with QSX, tcmatch.exe qui will be displayed.
3. Minimize TC to tray and then restore it.
4. Try to filter something with QSX -> tcmatch.exe gui won't appear.
Reproduced. Tcmatch.exe periodically searches for the window and does not find it, so it closes.

Already fixed.

I didnt get Unicode IniRead/IniWrite in Ahk to work.
You can't in regular AHK. U need to use AHK_L.

For tooltips over UI elements you can use some of the following modules:

- Forms/Tooltip Extension
- ShowTooltip func (or some of the simpler versions on the thread)

There is also a little bug in the GUI - General Tab -> "Activate" filed is shown as "4" sometimes.

Also, if you want to have hotkeys, I don't know when and how your dll gets loaded but you could run your AHK script all the time and monitor hotkeys from it.

BTW, icons in the small GUI look very lo-res here.

The both quotes are about different bugs.

I don't miss hotkeys. What kind of hotkeys do you suggest?
BTW, icons in the small GUI look very lo-res here.
All 5 icons, or 1 or 2 specific ones?

First 2 and the last one

Nothing. I just seen somebody requesting it and you describing what prevents you. I don't need any hotkeys, but the logical place would be for search method.

please keep cool and do not become emotional. Twinkey is not "bad programmed" - it is under development with powerful feature. There where some bugs which I reported, but since I installed the current version of Twinkey I have no problems.

I use both "Twinkey" and "Quick search extended", and I'm happy that they exist.

Me too. :) And when very first version of QSX was released I myself introduced it on Russian forum.
Don't worry, I'm cool enough and I completely finished this discussion.

Ok. I'll explain.
When DrShark call me I spent about half an hour to investigate the problem and told him that problem with GUI from tcmatch.exe (GUI doesn't appears) isn't related to TWinKey and he should report about this problem to you. The second problem (TC QuickSearch panel disappears) may be related to TWinKey (this currently still under investigation) but it is absolutely not related to QSX!.

So, reference to TWinKey in your post just irrelevant to problem. You have your own bug in tcmatch.exe (not related to TWinKey) , I probably have bug in TWinKey (not related to QSX).
I edited the posts above.
Me too.

First day while I tested I thought it was one bug or at least related problems (because in case with TWinkey tcmatch.exe gui also don't shown). Sorry for confusing the authors of both programs.
