TC as Admin and Vista Startup

The known "feature" of Windows Vista is software that require Admin rights don't executed at Windows startup. The reason is Windows Defender and there is no way to configure it to not block such software. There is one workaround: to disable the Defender. However, if no other security software installed, it's not recommend to disable it.

Well, I prefer to use Total Commander with elevated privileges. I guess a number of users need this too.

Is it possible to do something with it on Total Commander side? Total Commander is signed app and even this doesn't help. Maybe a solution will be to make it possible to run TC as a Windows service? Ideas and suggestions are welcome.

Also I have to say: I prefer to run TC normally without administrator rights.

I agree that it not safe to use elevated TC constantly. Since you do most operations within TC and start programs from it, all operations and programs are done with elevated rights. What if you start some trojan by mistake from elevated TC instance?
