TC can't resume copying if device was ejected

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC can't resume copying if device was ejected

Post by *MVV »

I copied folder from USB stick (phone) to HDD and cable was disconnected (bad contact). When I reconnected it and tell TC to retry copying file TC said that it can't (maybe because of invalid file handle) so I couldn't finish copying of that file within same copy operation.

It is expected that when I reconnect USB stick and click retry TC will continue copying file.

I'm sorry but this is impossible - the file handle becomes invalid in this case.

Here feature to write ends of incompletely copied files would help too... :)
