Move file on FTP server

Post by *x13 »

Hi.
Love TCMD, big fa for many years...

However, there is one feature that I miss a lot:

The ability to move a file to another folder on an FTP server.
F6/drag&drop is not allowed, and I think it should be.

Thanks!

Hi x13,
F6 -> "dirname/filename.ext"

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Roman,

Maybe it works that way, but <F6>..<ENT> ir drag&drop with shift does not.
And that was the point of my suggestion.

Besides, type a destination foldeer manually is prone to typing errors.

This is an option i woud like also.
I move a lot of files by ftp and have to maualy remove the local files.
and in my opinion F6 is move F5 copy.
On an FTP site they are worky both as F5
